About Me
Hi, I’m Sharon!
I’ve had the privilege of living in some beautiful and diverse places, including rural and remote parts of Australia, East Timor, West Papua, and New Zealand. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges faced by individuals with disabilities in accessing therapy services in rural and remote areas; services which can enhance their daily lives.
As an Occupational Therapist since 1996, I graduated from Curtin University in Western Australia. My career has taken me across Western and Northern Queensland, the NSW Central Highlands, South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, and the Mid North of South Australia. Each experience has deepened my commitment to supporting individuals in their therapeutic journeys.
I'm married and a mother of three wonderful sons. In my spare time, I enjoy wholefood cooking, productive gardening, traveling, hiking, and taking long walks with my dog at the beach.
My Christian faith is fundamental to my work. It inspires me to provide compassionate support to those with disabilities as we navigate their paths together. I believe that every person deserves the opportunity to thrive and achieve their goals.
